George Schrade Bridgeport, CT. Made in the 1950s just before he went out of business. They aren't too common but there also seems to be little interest in them.

Thank you for posting. I was unfamiliar with that knife before your post.

Since I have gotten interested in the "George Schrade Stainless Steel Hunting & Fishing Knife", I find there must have been two different companies operating at the same. The Geo. Schrade mentioned involved at the Bridgeport Connecticut site seemed to be the innovator/inventor of the family.
The switchblade and the wire knives are his design according to what I've been reading.
Can anyone point me to a site to read more about the Schrade companies?

George Schrade had nothing to do with the Schrade Cutlery Company (Schrade CutCo), Schrade Walden, and Schrade, Imperial Schrade, et al, as they had split the sheets many decades ago. However, the George Schrade knives and Boker had some sort of an agreement during the 1950s, just before the ill-conceived ban on switch blade knives. Someone will come along here and give MUCH better info on this subject.
