Re: Knives and Spirits
I guess they were "grandfathered" in, bighomer. I read an article once, maybe Outdoors magazine, about a guy who grew up drinking ditch water. Thirty years later, his body was so immune he could drink practically anything but poison.

1792 Small Batch and a Case 6279. The Ball watch is just because I like it which could also be said about everything in the photo.

Re: Knives and Spirits
Thank you, John but honestly, I'm still on the fence about this one. It was a Christmas gift and I have to say that it is WAY different than any other Rum that I've ever had before. That being said, I'm not a Rum connoisseur by any stretch of the word. On the rare occasions that I do drink Rum, it's usually Bacardi or something similar.
This is like Rum on steroids or maybe Rum in its rawest form. The flavor is very intense. Overpowering, dare I say. My wife can smell it across the room even though it's diluted with Coke. It's pretty intense.

Thanks for the review. Since my CFB Bowl starts in around an hour, I needed something to stay awake and your drink looked like it would fit the bill, so I mixed one. With a Catt Coke Bottle jack.
Cheers and LET'S GO MOUNTAINEERS!

I can't figure out why it does that when I post. I have tried several times to fix it but to no avail it tunes out in the wrong position.
Happy New year and thanks again.

Re: Knives and Spirits
Had my first glass of Smoke Wagon about a month ago. It's my current favorite Bourbon so I'm really looking forward to tonight's pour. The knife is a Buck 112 Open Season.
