I've had a few NRA knives over the years, and my experience is they don't tend to appreciate much in value over time. Most collectors would prefer the knife without NRA markings. I can't tell who the maker of those knives is, so that would be a matter of concern for me as well.

The purpose of selling the knives to make money for the NRA. Basically they are a thank you gift for making a donation. If you keep them in mint condition for the next 50 or 60 years you might see a profit on your investment.
I have a few NRA knives but doubt I could even get what I paid for them.
I am the NRA.

Most of us have a cause, charity or organization which we support. Might be a church, volunteer fire department, AKTI, NRA, American Cancer Society or etc. Whether or not the knives appreciate in value is not the point. If you're buying for an investment, move along to something else.

As Ken said, it's a fundraiser for the NRA. Those who want to support the cause will buy the knives - think of it as a donation for which you receive a token thank you gift.

Not one of the two pictured, but I recently got this China made one for “upping” my membership. It’s Ok, I suppose, but I’m not thrilled with it.
