Hello All, I'm a Newbe
Hello everyone, Newbe here. Just joined and looking forward to learning as much as I can.
My grandfather started me collecting knives as a youngin. But in my early teens most got stolen during a birthday party. After that I lost interest. Or as i got a little older other things took my interest. My grandfather passed, I grew up and had a kid of my own. And recently my grandmother passed and left me a few knives. So I'm back to collecting and mostly learning about what the knives are I have inherited. Which led me here.
I've watched as many YouTube videos as I can find. And I've been exploring the internet. I think I have a few fairly good knives and a few not so good knives. My grandfather loved the fle-market. I have several of the "Bear Hunter" brand. Which says Soligen on the blade but it's a Pakistan made. And I have 2 of the "Old Smoky" knives which are also made in Pakistan. I've seen those same knives with the spelling "Ole Smoky", strange. But I have a few Case knives and several of the Shrade Scrimshaw knives. And a couple other mixed knives. Boker, Blue Grass, Imperial and a couple of Japanese Sabre brand knives. And the few knives I already owned. Now I'm very grateful and looking forward to start adding to my collection.

Welcome to AAPK. This is a great place to learn about and buy knives by shopping the stores here. If you haven’t found it yet the Research section (accessed by clicking on it in the header at the top of this page) is an excellent resource for many brands. And of course the members here will happily answer your questions.
