Newbie here. Knife collector learning the details!

Post by MissouriGuerrilla »

Good evening, Folks! MissouriGuerrilla here and I just joined. I am a knife collector and I am just starting to learn about how knives are made, the many different steels and terminology of the trade. I enjoy getting SMKW catalogs and watching hours of Cutlery Corner. I look forward to corresponding with all of you!
With this I am including a pic of the very first knife I got. I was just a little one when my grandfather gave me this Imperial PROV.

Welcome Sir, glad to have you. I was just up in your neck of the woods. Came home with 22 folding knives and 1 fixed blade. Dive in there is a lot of good information here at AAPK. ::handshake::

It feels weird welcoming a new recruit when I'm still learning the drill myself! But a big G'day from the Aussie end of AAPK! Hope you enjoy it as much! ::handshake::
