The price I pay for shipping a single knife USPS First Class to anywhere in the US is $4.81. I ship in a small cardboard box (6X3X3), or you can use a padded mailer. I think a padded mailer is a little bit cheaper.

Sometimes I ship USPS Priority which is now about $7.40. You can get those boxes free from the Post Office and they also carry $50 of insurance should your package be lost or stolen.

Welcome.

I primarily sell on ebay. USPS, depending on weight starts under $3.00, and before hitting 16 ounces can cost as much as almost $6.00
for first class mail.

Remember whoever is processing your money takes fees, EVEN OUT OF THE SHIPPING AMOUNT.

I charge, for first class, $4.95. About 80% of the time my costs, including shipping AND FEES are under that.

It was over 50 years ago that I was seeing a girl from Bossier City. I use to stay at the Alamo Plaza motel, ate a lot of meals at a little place on Fairfield (or was it Line Ave.?) called Fertitta’s Deli, and a place downtown called Monsieur's (Monsieur's No. 2 if I recall correctly) that had great seafood and cold beer. Probably none of them there any more. Been a long time.
