Good evening everyone, my name is Phil. Its a pleasure to introduce myself to everyone in the forum. While I am not new to the world of pocket knives, I am new to AAPK. Hope everyone is staying safe during this virus scare. I primarily carry a Case stockman. Either a 6375 CV, or the ubiquitous 6347 Case stockman. However, I switch up my EDC routine every now and then. Glad to be on the AAPK forums!

Howdy, Phil! ::welcome:: To AAPK. I'm also a Phil aka Treefarmer. ::handshake::
You are in good company when you talk about the Case stockmen knives. I've been carrying a 6275 for some reason the last week or so. You'll also find me with a Queen #49 pretty often, too.

Glad to meet you Phil!!!!! It's funny you mention a Queen Cattle King. I carry a stag Schatt and Morgan reverse gun stock stockman on special days myself. Its a handful of a knife, but I like the jumbo pattern stockmans!

Welcome Phil. We’re of a like mind, but my preference tends toward the 047 pattern. Usually carry a 53047, 63047, or here lately a 64047.

Welcome from Jersey!

Count me as a fan of the Case stockman, although I won't turn a good looking stockman if it ISN'T a Case.
3 1/2" to 4" is preferred, but I do have a 6375 I'll drop in my pocket every now and then.
Take care and God bless,

Steve I am the same way. I carried a Craftsman medium size stockman for years. I found it when I was cleaning out Ma's Delta 88 around 1989. Carried that knife for years, until I broke the tip being foolish with it around 2007. For every day carry, its hard to beat the 6347 style pattern, or other equivalents from other makers. Hope everyone is having a great weekend by the way!
