Introducing myself
Hello all. I'm John O'Dell in Ocean City, MD. Just joined yesterday and really enjoying the AAPK site already. I'm a 40+year collector with an extensive(1500+) collection. Favorites are: Cattaraugus, Union/KABAR, New York Knife, any Hawkbill/Pruners< and related oddities. I don't sell anything but I'd trade for something I like. See my recent posts on the Catt, KABAR, Maher &Grosh brand sites.
Like probably many of you, the Covid mess has given me the opportunity to revisit my collection and do some cleaning and cataloging. It's been a pleasant rediscovery of some old favorites. Looking forward to talking with other collectors. J.O'.

Welcome from the Commonwealth of Kentucky! That’s a wonderful old knife you’re showing there, it’s my kind of knife too!

Hello John and Welcome to the AAPK from Germany!
Well actually I'm Maryland made & Florida grown but somehow I got stuck over here in Germany.
OC is a pretty cool place! Been there a few times on vacation. Once as a kid, once with my wife & once with my wife and children.
As you can tell, we're glad you came!

Re: Introducing myself
Howdy from Alexandria and to AAPK. I too love old Cattaraugus knives, wish I had more of them to coon finger (a new term I learnt here ). My fiancee and I travel to O.C. MD on occasion, in fact we found an antique store close to Princess Anne's called the Rusty Rooster and I've picked his offerings a few times. We're both from Cumberland originally. I have a bud who lives in Salisbury, that's how I found the Rusty Rooster Antique Mall.
Lots of great people and knife talk here, so much to read and learn. Enjoy and we hope you post some sweet knife pictures.
