Have had storm warnings off & on since 6 pm. So far all has missed me. Just a little rain. Wind was crazy before the warnings started, then got quiet. Temp dropped over 20 degrees in short period of time. Weird crap.
Chance of another round later in the overnight.
Tomorrow should be pleasant after 96 and humid yuck today.

At least I took measurements and ensured adequate clearance for the ceiling fan installation. Did some "window shopping" for knife handle materials. Talk about a rabbit hole! I'll soon be off to bed, so I'll see y'all later!

Since the Berlin, MD informal knife show got called due to weather, Herb and I got together for some knife talk, lunch with beverages and some soldering train(ing) for me. Working on a new Landmark Yards layout too. Decided to relax and watch Kolchak, The Night Stalker.

Watching the Cubs on YouTube. I've never seen a game on YouTube before. Pirates are up 3-2 in the 8th. We need some offense here.

YouTube for me is “going down a rabbit hole”. Generally music, sometimes shooting videos and gun reviews. All of the sudden it’s 2 hours later! Must not do that tonight. Need sleep.

Hey everyone at LNL!

Man, it's been awhile since I've posted on AAPK. That's life. The many priorities, problems and responsibilities that pull you away from things you hate to be away from!
Glad to see the Lodge is popular. Had my doubts when I launched it to be honest. But good to see folks checkin' in and staying a spell!

In possession of three cars and all three are down. Can you beat that?! Mine and wife's car needs control arm looked at, father-in-law's truck is grinding when the brakes are applied and mother-in-law's car (which she sent us money to buy it as she is in St. Louis) is now leaking from two spots. When it rains, it floods! Getting it all taken care of in the next several days.

Well, better call it a night! I've missed you guys! Good thing I've had my new knife catalogs to keep me on the knife track!

Peace be with you all for a good night's rest! Take care!

This afternoon and early evening we had the long predicted rain. Thunder and lightning with very heavy rain. The red-winged Blackbirds down by the creek will be glad to see water flowing I presume.
Spent a little time oiling some lockback knives.

To all a good night. Sleep well.

The one night I actually get to bed and to sleep at a reasonable time the wind comes up and the neighbors trash and recycling containers are blowing all over. So now I'm wide awake and eating ice cream. ::shrug::

Well the Cubs got their butts handed to them & the PBS Saturday night shows are all over with so I guess I might as well hit the rack. "Good night Mrs. Calabash, wherever you are". (in my best Jimmy Durante imitation).

Thanks, David. ::handshake:: The sod is now complete and last night I got a second transformer wired, so 1 operates the outer loop and another operates the inner track. It looks a lot better in my opinion having all the wiring covered up. ::nod::

I turned in while Kolchak was on.
