No liver for me for breakfast. I'll stick with a little more traditional morning food. It's cold and with a rain/snow mix today after a beautiful day yesterday. Church and Sunday School in a few hours and a nice nap this afternoon. Maybe some liver for supper. Have a great Sunday. ___Dave

Good Sunday Mornin' to Y'all!
We just had another bunch of company head out for home and lookin' forward to seening our son and his family for church in a couple of hours. We've celebratin' Miss Joy's birthday, which is today, since Friday! ::tu:: Catching up on different sides of the family is always fun and remembering what we all did 50 and 60 years ago ::facepalm:: .
Have a good day, "knifers"! See y'all at church.

Good morning. Off to another week. How many of you return to First Cup Diner later in the day to see entries posted later than yours? Just curious. I make it a practice for myself. If all goes as planned I''ll have some cement laid down in the driveway tomorrow. Take care.

Morning QS, morning gents. Got my boss traveling my territory with me this week, his first time down in over a year. He's good guy and a fellow turkey hunter - so it should be a good week. OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

Good Monday morning. I check in when I get home from where ever I'm working at the diner and at New Posts to see what's happening and then over to Facebook to see what the grandkids are up to and then if I have anything bid on in the local computer auctions. It all takes more time than I really can afford to give it but it appears to be the only way I can sit still long enough to allow this old body to recoup a little before I'm off abusing it with more work around the house after working on someone elses projects. We are having a long string of cold rainy wintry mix days and I have steel for a roof laying in one yard and a deck and screen porch all pressure washed for stain. This isn't exactly what I planned for my retirement but I can think of way worse ways to spend it. Have a great day and week.____Dave

Good Monday Mornin',Fellers!
A little on the cool side this am, 55 and overcast, not much of a rain yesterday afternoon. We need a little rain but not nearly as bad a the folks living' on the south end of the peninsula. What a mess, same thing happened a few years back on the east side of Florida, no body seems to understand the concept of control burning, thus the inevitable wildfire and so much property damage. ::shrug:: We try to keep our little corner of the world burned off every 3 or 4 years.
Quick Steel, I'll admit I do check the FCD several times, especially if I'm stuck inside. I also try to key in on the mail call and the new pick ups just to see what folks are finding! And of course, if there is a controversial topic, it's always interesting! ::stir:: ::facepalm::
Hope y'all have a great day!

Mornin' fellers. As to checking in to FCD later in the day, I just let the AAPK system email me when a post is made here. I do go and read the various posts.
Cool here this morning at 50º. It is supposed to get into the 90s later this week.
Hope you all have a good day. ::tu::

I have AAPK on my favorites bar and it's linked to the "New Posts" page. I have found I seldom miss a new thread or a new post to an old thread by browsing the "New Posts" page. I check for new posts several times a day and that includes FCD. That's what works for me. Your mileage may vary.

Ray, is the email feature working now? It didn't when the new software was first put up.

Y'all enjoy your day.

Good morning all. I'm a bit under the weather and have been for a few days now. I suspect it's allergy related, lots of coughing and hacking and not much good rest. I have a bunch of work that needs doin' but it's not likely much of it will get done today the way I feel.

Jerry,
Yes, it is working. Seems like I had trouble with it for a while during the switchover to the new software. But now I get an email when a post is made in any topic where I have made a post plus, I can subscribe by using the little icon when I want notification on topics where I have not posted.
Maybe it is a setting or something, I can't remember.

I finally figured out how to remove Yahoo news as my home page when I click on the Chrome icon. Guess what my home page is now. ::hmm:: That's right every time I click on Google Chrome to go to the Internet good ole AAPK greets me first thing. ::groove:: I normally don't wait until later in the day to recheck new posts with me it's about every 15 minutes. I guess that's just my addictive personality kicking in.
At any rate while I have your attention let me just say GOOD Morning To All AND I Hope Everyone Has A Great Monday!
