I'd love my job if it wasn't for some of the customers.
I here ya brother! I've been dealing with customers in the housing(and commercial) industry for 40+ years. Most are great people, but those sorted few... ::dang::

Looks like it's gonna be a pretty nice day, low 70's and mostly sunny this afternoon. Stuck in the paint booth this morning and back to the main shop later on.

Been havin' a hankerin' to go arrowhead huntin', it's been awhile and fields are being worked or burnt off this time of year. Might try to squeeze in a couple of hours before dark. We'll see how much enthusiasm I have by then. ::tired:: :D

Have a good'n!

Looks to be a pretty morning, 39 degrees here at Starvation Plantation, we got to 69 yesterday after the big frost.
Finished getting the disk harrow put together and made a round or two in one of the garden spots and had a hydraulic line blow out on the old tractor! Got a bath in in hydraulic oil before I could get the engine stopped, easy fix though an original line to the remote hook up finally gave up the ghost. We've had this old tractor 43 years and it was 2 years old when we bought it so I figure this is not a big deal. :)
Y'all have a blessed Friday!

Not one picture of the disk back together? I am disappointed.

Thanks for the picture. Seems like one step forward two steps back. Glad it is not life or death. Thanks again for taking the time to respond.

Yesterday I had 4 hours and 5 minutes. Dad called while I was having breakfast and I rushed home to get him. We went down by Hobby Airport to get raw materials for my Uncle to make soap.
Since I'm back on Monday through Saturday today is actually my Friday.
Dad ran vinegar through the coffeemaker and it seems to have helped.
Pretty good mug which I need as I can't see very well.

Good morning guys. It's my knife club weekend but my friend from Duluth and I decided to save our resources for the Janesville show next weekend so I have nothing going today but resting up from the week. The tiling job went pretty well yesterday, glass tiles and all. My saw cut them without noticeable chipping. Have a great Saturday. ____Dave

Good Mornin', Boys.
Haven't quite got started this morning. Found out our son and the youngest grandson are coming for a visit today, the little one is 22 months.
52 was the low this morning, that's almost warm enough.
Have a great day!

4 hours and 3 and a half minutes today. Have a jury summons for Monday. Have a number to call for a recording. I do have to be there. Notified work. I think my Dad is out on the lawnmower.
And that's all the news that's fit to print.

Good Mornin', Scott and Dave.
We're slowly getting started this morning ,enjoying our youngest grandson. We are not "child proof" and it's not too bad, he is pretty good about pointing and identifying but not touching, so far. :) Had a good time riding on the woods cart and playing outside yesterday afternoon, had a beautiful day, got up to 80 degrees.
Coffee and little breakfast then heading for church in a couple of hours. Already thinking about our venison dinner when we get home. ::tu:: We had fried quail last night for supper, it was mighty good.
Y'all have a great Sunday!

Morning gents, coffee is good, got a busy week ahead. OH
Deep in the guts of most men is buried the involuntary response to the hunter's horn, a prickle of the nape hairs, an acceleration of the pulse, an atavistic memory of his fathers, who killed first with stone, and then with club...Robert Ruark

Good Mornin', Boys.
Going to be a few days drying out around here, we had 3.4" of rain from around 4 pm yesterday till about 2:30 this morning. Lots of thunder and lightening, too. Water standing in the back yard when I checked the rain gauge.
Coffee pot is ready, Miss Joy is still asleep so I'll try to be quiet.
Big plan for today is working at the Food Pantry this afternoon.
Y'all have a great Monday!

Mornin men. Got the tators in yesterday right before the rain started. Chance of rain all day it looks like. No plans for today. I'm going to take it easy and rest up for the work week. Keep your powder dry and happy trails.

My "morning" is clearly a couple of hours later than most of you. That's partly due to me being on the Left Coast, but also because I just don't "do mornings" very well. I never have. My Dad was a "rise with the sun" (or before) farmer, and he had to physically roust me out of bed every morning to go feed the animals. 40+ years later, and not much has changed except that now I have a beeping phone trying to roust me out of bed...

I spent most of the weekend working on a computer security issue at work. To all my friends: PLEASE be careful of any emails you receive. "Phishing" (emails that contain links to fake/malicious web sites) is by far the #1 method for cyber attacks. The phishing emails are VERY GOOD fakes. They could be directly targeted at you, and addressed from companies and people that you personally know. It is no longer true that the fake emails can be spotted just from the poor English spelling & grammar. These emails will look and be written exactly like an authenticate email from Microsoft, UPS, Wells Fargo Bank or your best friend that got hacked last year. A recent study of billions of email messages at Microsoft showed that *75%* of all email contains a malicious link. Most of that email is caught by the spam filters and never makes it to your inbox, but it only takes one...

Have a great day!
