Mornin guys. I have to take the Rav4 in for yearly inspection this morning. I would have put it off except that it has to be done just prior to renewing the registration. The temp is a comfortable 60º and will get to about 90º later today.
Hope you all have a good and safe day. ::tu::

Goooood Morning Everyone!!!!
My Son in Law and I ended up replacing 4 lights yesterday that are indirect lights hidden over the kitchen cabinets. We put in some LED light bars that came in a shipment and boy is there a big difference. You don't really need the other kitchen lights in the morning with these bright ones on. It's a real beautiful glow over the cabinets and onto the ceiling. We are all finished with the quarantine with my daughter coming home from overseas, but Ponder Country is still under the "shelter in place" order, so I guess we'll stay right here. Everyone have a blessed day and be very safe wherever you are. :D

Good Mornin', Fellers.
Sun is breaking through the fog, should be another fine day. Yesterday we had mostly an overcast sky. After we attended "video church" yesterday, we were visited by 2 does and 3 yearlings for about 10 minutes while we were cookin' one of their relatives. They are such graceful, beautiful creatures! I suppose that is why they taste so good. ::stir::
Retired life has turned out to be a constant "maintenance" job, always something to do around a house and a small farm. When the big boss (district school superintendent) would ask why our bunch hadn't completed a particular job, I was usually comfortable enough to answer with a straight face and say, "Job security, Sir. If we get done too quick y'all might not need us." I worked for 6 different School Board Superintendents over my 35 years with the district.
Let's go drink that 1st cup.
Y'all have a safe day!

Good afternoon everyone
At work. Has a fairly nice weekend. I walked down to the deserted school parking lot and flew a kite yesterday. I’ve been itching to get one or two out.
It’s pretty quiet here. The sun is out and it’s windy but warm. We are all outside for our break.
Have a good and safe day everyone!

Good Mornin', David.
It's 61 here in LA this morning. I looked at the 7 day weather forecast and there are to be red letter thunderstorms everyday but Friday. ::shrug:: We'll see how close they were when it's over.
Miss Joy and I made up a double sized venison stew recipe yesterday and shared 1/2 with some friends that are both sick. Don't know what their sickness is for sure but played it safe, I set the stew on the front porch, rang the bell and ran! So far there has only been one confirmed case of the Covid-19 virus in our county.
Got some knives packaged up to send to one of my brothers-in-law. He had sent a picture of a Case 3207, wondering what it was. Apparently the hardware store has no one with any knife smarts. They removed all the Case knives from the original boxes and put them in the display case and don't know how to read the tang and match it with the box the knife came in! ::uc:: I told him I would send him lightly used Mini-trapper and I went ahead and included a 3254 made in '86 that is NIB.
Going to ease up to the church, keeping the guidelines of "10 or less" and meet with the pastor and a few others in a few minutes for prayer.
Get my coffee when I get back.
Got to carry the mini-Dachshund for his check up at 9am and I'll go by the post office. Killing two birds with one stone, save on this cheap gas. :)
Y'all have a great day!

Good morning. It's cool and drizzley here. It's not very pleasant but sure is getting rid of the snow cover and uncovering a lot of nasty stuff the dogs have been planting all over the yard the yard all winter. The leaf rake will take care of that when it all dries up. I'm off to the cabin to work. Here's a picture my son took yesterday of me hard at work. Notice I'm taking all the needed safety precautions so if my wife asks, you can tell her. I got two knives in the mail yesterday that I bought from Scott so I'll have to post some pictures before I head off to work. Have a great Tuesday.____Dave

Mornin' Y'all

Cut the remainder of the grass yesterday. Need to do some more chainsawin'
in one corner of the yard, but it'll wait. I intend to pull our A/C out of
the window and clean it up. Won't be long before I'll need it to be
able to sleep during the day ...

Y'all stay safe

Self-Isolation Quarantine Diary
Day 1 – I Can Do This!! Got enough food and wine to last a month!
Day 2 – Opening my 8th bottle of Wine. I fear wine supplies might not last!
Day 3 – Strawberries: Some have 210 seeds, some have 235 seeds. Who Knew??
Day 4 – 8:00pm. Removed my Day Pajamas and put on my Night Pajamas.
Day 5 – Today, I tried to make Hand Sanitizer. It came out as Jello Shots!!
Day 6 – I get to take the Garbage out. I’m so excited, I can’t decide what to wear.
Day 7 – Laughing way too much at my own jokes!!
Day 8 – Went to a new restaurant called “The Kitchen”. You have to gather all the ingredients and make your own meal. I have No clue how this place is still in business.
Day 9 – I put liquor bottles in every room. Tonight, I’m getting all dressed up and going bar hopping.
Day 10 – Struck up a conversation with a Spider today. Seems nice. He’s a Web Designer.
Day 11 – Isolation is hard. I swear my fridge just said, “What the hell do you want now?”
Day 12 – I realized why dogs get so excited about something moving outside, going for walks or car rides. I think I just barked at a squirrel.
Day 13 – If you keep a glass of wine in each hand, you can’t accidentally touch your face.
Day 14 – Watched the birds fight over a worm. The Cardinals lead the Blue Jays 3–1.
Day 15 – Anybody else feel like they’ve cooked dinner about 395 times this month?
Forged on the anvil of discipline.
The Few. The Proud.

Mornin' guys. Wow, I sure slept in this morning and I am feeling about like what Jerry posted. If it wasn't for having knives to fondle, I'd really be stir-crazy. I'm going to fire up the microwave and heat up a bowl of gruel and I have to make a trip to the post office.
Hope you all have a knice day. ::tu::

Goooood Morning Everyone!!!
Jerry you crack me up ::rotflol:: We have gone through the same experience here with my daughter and her family. Our difference would be 2 six year olds asking over and over "why are we doing this?" or "is quarantine over yet?" Yes it's over, but now we have "shelter in place" so the same questions start all over again. :? Of course we have nothing planned today, except the kids school work. The yard is still too wet to mow and we are expecting more rain sometime in the next couple of days. I guess I could rearrange my office or go out on the patio and whistle with the birds. Lord let this mess end soon. Okay, everyone have a blessed day and be very safe wherever you are. ::pray::

Mornin y'all.
Coffee was good!
Work was much of the same.
The mask made my glasses fog up.
Then without glasses my eyes fogged up.
Going back to a bandana.
11.03 for two days.
Tomorrow the stockers will be working early.
I'm supposed to be able to get them to move for the floor machine and again for the buffer.
I know a few will move. But not all.

Good afternoon everyone
It’s a beautiful day! Sun and wind. I’m going to take walk this evening while I still can. Most days I only run into one or two people and we are very good about staying on our own side of the road.
I’m posting, so obviously I’m employed.
So far, so good.
Have a good and safe day everyone!

Mornin' Y'all

Here we are once again. Another Wednesday rolls up to the curb
and the guys with the black masks jumps out after you.

Or maybe they're wearing white coats, and they have a special one for you,
one with long sleeves so you can hug yourself ...

Pot's ready and FCD is open to witness one more time.
