Last night we went to the Cumberland Christmas Tree Lighting and I talked my nephew into walking down to the train station. He wouldn't pose with the train, but I snapped some pictures.

Sorry to report the steam engine wasn't in service. 😔 But The Grinch was there on horseback.

The only thing I can figure, cudgee, is his dad works on the railroad and maybe he tells him not to play around trains, for safety reasons. ::shrug::

Another WMSR 1309 vid, journey from Baltimore to Cumberland. It starts regular rail service next year, from May to October. I bought tickets to ride on May 28th, the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. 😎👍
