NFL FOOTBALL

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

I don’t follow NFL very much until playoff time. What I find interesting is what teams some people follow. Where I live most are loser Vikings fans along with a generous amount of Packer backers but a surprising number of Steelers fans. My son is one of them since the days of their Iron Curtain defense. Likely the end of an era.

I'm a fan of the game first, the New England Patriots, second.
I was born in Maine, graduated from Dover High in New Hampshire. I now live 20 minutes from the Philadelphia Eagles stadium, so I root for them, also.
Nothing bothers me more than bandwagon fans or fair weather fans. Except maybe Cowboy fans that have never been to Texas in their life.

I've thoroughly enjoyed the 20 year run we had with Brady. Mac Jones is looking good, so I'm still happy. As a fan of the game, I have no problem with the ebb and flow that has brought the Bills to the top of the AFC East.
Take care and God bless,

What I have always had a problem with is "FANS" or whatever you call them that throw trash at officials and players when their team loses. Not sure if trash describes the items being thrown or the throwers. Maybe both. Video may catch some and they get prosecuted.

I've been to two pro games.

The conduct of the fans following the strange conclusion of the Cowboys game was ridiculous and totally outside the bounds of decent behavior. They threw items including bottles at the officials as they were exiting the field. When he found out the fans were targeting the officials and not his team, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott endorsed the shameful display. Shame on him and shame on those fans. ::td:: ::td::

Prescott should be fined or suspended by the League.

Didn’t see the Cowboys game . Too bad Fans have to do that stuff and then for a “ Professional “ Football player ,it’s just to bad .
Boji ,not sure the Packers will pull it off this Sunday ? We’ve won the last few against them and are playing in Green Bay.
Packers over KC ,could be . Rodgers sure wants a Super Bowl . It’s the playoffs anything could happen yet .
Rams looked good last night !

I’m not a fan of professional football (NFL) since Billy “White Shoes” Johnson started acting the fool in the end zone. It’s been all downhill since then IMHO. As the son of a coach I was taught that after the play you hand the ball to the ref and get ready for the next play. Celebrate after the game!

But I do follow a few players, especially those I saw play in high school and later in college. So since I saw him play in high school and then at Texas Tech, I’m a Patrick Mahomes fan. He continues to be an amazing talent.

Dey let their QB get sacked 9 times and still managed to win. That's not likely to happen again in the playoffs. Poor Burrrow took a pounding today. O line will have to step up or this will be the last win they enjoy.
