OC, that's a fancy rig that you wear to show off a little. Women have their bridge rings to wear to bridge parties and fellows have their fancy holsters they wear to the bbq.

Yep, a buddy of mine has a fancy engraved 1911(Sig, I think) and holster. Texas version with a quote from Sam Houston engraved on it. We call it his barbeque rig. Or his "bedazzled" gun.

Should have kept my bump stock… it was fun! (They overturned the ban)
Here is my son shooting the bump stock a few years ago… it’s on my made-in-Missouri CMMG AR-15

Well... This tiny show was a bust, darn, I was in and out in 20 min
No used knives at all - very few used firearms
Only two vendors with knives... And only one had any (very few) made-in-USA knives to peruse (my preference for my collection)
Was hoping this would be s show where private owners brought some of their own collections (of firearms and knives) to show and to possibly sell... Oh well

You should have come up to Sioux Falls this weekend, the DTGCA show was here this weekend. Over 1300 tables. I walked until my feet and back could take no more.MadeinUSA wrote: ↑Sun Mar 26, 2023 5:56 pmWell... This tiny show was a bust, darn, I was in and out in 20 min

Yep… that is the best show I’ve ever attended! I was a vendor there in 2019 (my wife was a distributor for gun cleaning products… now retired) and we had four tables there.OLDE CUTLER wrote: ↑Sun Mar 26, 2023 6:14 pmYou should have come up to Sioux Falls this weekend, the DTGCA show was here this weekend. There were 3 of our local custom knife makers here, as well as numerous others that had a lot of knives. I purposely passed on some knives because I had bigger fish to fry. I was on the lookout for a nice old double action rimfire revolver, and picked up this nice Colt Officers Model, 3rd Issue made in 1939. The Officers Model was Colts premier revolver until the introduction of the Python in 1955.MadeinUSA wrote: ↑Sun Mar 26, 2023 10:18 pmYep… that is the best show I’ve ever attended! I just put my only Colt up for sale on GunBroker earlier today. I’m culling the herd a bit as I age.

I hate to rub salt in that wound…. But….
This past Saturday my oldest and I went to a 22 rimfire rifle/ center fire pistol silhouette shoot at the local gun club. It’s a great bunch of guys, and it only costs $5 per round, bring your own ammo. We had a hoot.
Here’s a couple of pics of the targets set up at 40, 60, 80, and 100 yards. Can you see them itty bitty chickens at 40 yards???
The first pic is if the pistol targets. The second the rimfire targets.

I had that Colt Officers Model 22lr pictured above out this morning and shot 50 rds thru it. There's no "lawyer trigger" on that Colt. It breaks at just under 2 lbs, shoots great too!
