I think most of us are fans of experiencing the outdoors while fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, etc.

Seems to go hand in hand with carrying a knife.

How bout some pics of your outdoors experiences?

Me, last year with a LMB I caught fishing the Erie Canal in Palmyra, NY. (Greater Rochester area)

Here's one a couple of weeks old. I was teaching my wife how to make a compass and sundial with a sharpened stick.

And here's my son and I hiking the sunken road at Antietam battlefield.

Besides knife collecting, I love skiing and ATV riding. Here's a picture of me at Snow Basin, UT, back in 2007 and a picture of me racing my Honda TRX 650 during a Grand National Cross Country race at Wisp Resort, MD, in 2006.

I'm also big into mt. biking, hunting, hiking, and recently bought a fishing reel to get set up and do some fishing this coming summer.

Kinda neat to see what we look like doing some of the other things we do when we're not messing around with pocket knives. I guess we might say we are reintroducing ourselves to the AAPK family. When you are retired you don't have time to do everything you want to do, but we do what we need to do, like fishing with the grandsons and deer huntin'! There is a lot of other outdoor activities, like yard work, vegetable garden and wildlfe food plots. Treefarmer

Scott;How about a deer blind picture and if Caleb see's it wait till'ya see his ::ds::Then theres me and my boys blessed with fresh snow for tracking ::woot::the day started @ -20F and we had a fresh track driving in at three AM.

garddogg56, that's a fine lookin' ol' model 99 in the deer blind. What caliber is it? Several of my brothers-in-law have 99's. Never had the priviledge of owning one, yet. Treefarmer

Good eye treefarmer That 99 is in a .300 savage by far the best shooter I have ever shot it was my Grandpas and I got his Colt Police Positive in a 32-20.1928

Trout season begins in April, so it's already on our minds. We are planning our trip out and it looks like we'll have a great group of guys. It's always a blast just being there, it's been a few years since we slayed them, but hopefully we'll do okay. I plan on having the camera along for the trip, so hopefully pics will follow. One of the awesome things about where we fish is knowing that GEC is making knives a few miles away.

I think I could manage a few hours of hunting time in one of your blinds too, I'm not entirely spoiled with our shacks yet.

That is something, I love seeing these pics. Looks like you have to be on watch quite a bit, any bit of movement may be that Buck. It looks like an exciting way to hunt.

OUCH Scott I know what you mean I've only worked a handful of days since Christmas Yea all their games are within an hour of there believe me if work was steady I would be down there NOW.Caleb I only sit in the stands early+late the rest of the day I still hunt
