First Cup Diner!

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Get some deep creep and spray that lug nut, that stuff works pretty good and you might get that nut off.

Good Mornin'.
It is foggy this morning and 71 degrees looks like the low for today. Work day today, helpers will be here in an hour or so. Coffee is ready and it doesn't take long to nuke a Jimmy Dean sausage, egg and buiscuit. Then we'll be ready to face the day. :)
Hope everyone has a productive day!

Good morning. There's a cool overcast day coming and I'm taking a few days off. I got about half on my chicken barn cleaned last night and plan the other half today or tomorrow. I just might take the day to do a little antiquing instead. Fall is definitely sneaking in even with the trees still almost full green. Have a great Thursday. ____Dave

Good Morning. Overcast here with rain likely sometime. A couple of minor repairs need to be made to the house. As it is too far to ask Dave to visit, I'll see if google can find some local talent for me. Today feels as if it will be a mighty day, e.g. I might go to town, I might do some laundry, I might clean my office, etc. My reservoir of decisiveness is at low level. Take care.

Afternoon y'all. I have been fighting with that lug nut for two hours and it is still winning.
Coffee was good this morning. Managed to get 5 hours today and have 22.32 with two days to go.
Got another pretty good check.
Going to do comics and pennies and maybe mess with the car again.
Looking for the magic penny!

Good afternoon everyone
Uke night and that’s about it. Build chairs, skid ‘em, rinse, repeat. Oddball tables for variety. Oh well, keeps me in shape!
Have a good and safe day everyone!

Mornin' Y'all

Welcome to yet another edition of Friday.
Gonna be an extra-long weekend for me; Got a man on the other shift on vacation.
And the Boss is insistent that it be covered.
So I'll be pulling extra shifts Monday and next Friday .... ::tired::

Good news is, after I run that gauntlet, a little over 2 weeks and I'll take a vacation!

So, without further delay, let's get this thing in gear !!

Good Mornin', Chris.
I remember getting up like this everyday and heading out for work. Now we drag around and get started when we want to. Heading down the state for a little get together for Miss Joy's dad's 96th birthday. I hope he has time to come. Sunday night he told Joy he had 4 cattle to cut this week! He has been blessed with a desire to work, he sold his butchering business over 20 years ago but somehow he has "privileges" at the old place and keeps a list of personal customer satisfied processing their critters. A few weeks ago he did a buffalo. He does have a bit of help now and then.
Maybe we'll see a junk store along the way and make a stop or two.
Y'all have a great day!

Mornin' guys and Ann. It is not quite so hot this morning and I hope it means an end to the triple digit days we have had for a couple of months. I have a post office run to make and not much else for the day. Granddaughter will be in town this weekend in order to get settled into a dorm room. This will be a new adventure for her and for the Bride and me. I fully expect to be furnishing her meals and laundry facilities for the next 4 years. :D
Hope you all have a knife day. ::tu::

Morning knifers, that a cool thing for a youngster Scott be a good memory for them. Nothing going around here today I hope, got a good shower yestiddy and more coming for the next 2 or 3 days. So foggy out this morning you can't see your hand in front of your face. The old folks used to say for every fog in August there'd be a snow the coming winter. Buddies day at Hooters, hope this fog burns off before then. Won't be many there, as a couple are away on trips. Believe I'll get another cuppa joe and ponder on it. Hope yawl have a good'un. ::handshake::

Good morning. I'm plumb tuckered out from my "day off" yesterday, but I got my chicken barn cleaned and some stuff repaired in there and a bunch of other stuff done around the homestead. Today we are getting in the car and hitting a few antique shops. Work is piling up for next week already. Have a great Friday and weekend. ____Dave

Morning. Overcast. Humidity is 100%, 81°will be the high, and rain is supposed to be definite. Unavoidable run into town needed. Also need to clean the kitchen floor. Other than that, I'll see what the day brings. Take care all.

Afternoon y'all. Got the wheel off FINALLY. As per a YouTube I watched I pulled the inner fender. It doesn't help at all.
Must have been a different year model or SOMETHING.
Anyhow it has come a gully washer and I ain't gonna swim.
So comics at the very least and pennies if possible.
This implys the power won't go out but that is entirely possible.

J P Dave I've just got to ask. When you talk about doing pennies, what exactly are you doing ?

Good evening everyone
Closing again, I guess. I’m over at Josh’s, because, once again ‘Mom’s Mobile Banking and Loan’ has come to the rescue of a busted truck.
Tranny. Again. God bless Pick-A-Part.
Now I get to take a bus home again because he can’t actually fix it today. Sigh.
Have a good and safe day everyone!

I have built three airplanes (RC) out of Dollar General foambord. A Trainer, a Biplane and a Stick.
I have a radio with 20 model memory on the way. Also servos etc.
The coffeemaker was not on this morning, but I turned it on and the coffee ain't too awful.
As far as pennies go I look through a box keeping the copper and wheat pennies that have a chance and make 7 penny stacks of the bad stuff to go back to the wild. Now I must go to work yet another Saturday.
But at least the car got fixed yesterday.

Good Mornin’.
Waking up in a strange place. Today is grandpa’s 96th birthday, the celebration begins at noon. He is going to be late as he is attending a funeral of the wife of one of his old school buddies. He and his friend are just a few months apart in age and have been friends since elementary school.
Nice to see family but can’t wait to get back home on the farm.
Y’all have a wonderful day!

Good morning. Phil, I know the feeling exactly. I love going to family stuff for a day, but not staying overnight. I love working but hate being away from home more than just during the day, unless it's to a knife show and Jane is home watching my animals. Then I still love getting home. Yesterday's day trip was a complete bust as far as finding knives. Jane found a few book ends for her library, and seemed to find something in every antique store she went into so I didn't have any trouble spending money. I got a donut on the way down and a chicken strip basket coming home, but that was it. Nothing of significance planned for today. Have a great weekend. ____Dave
