Mornin' Y'all

Well, I did go to Mountaintop alone yesterday, but came home empty-handed.

And so another Monday awaits those fortunate enough to wake up on the correct side of the grass.
Pot is ready yawl . . . .
Chris
i woke last night to the sound of thunder
how far off i sat and wondered
started humming a song from nineteen sixty two
aint it funny how the night moves

Good morning. I do believe all breakfast diners do weather talk, and ours is getting boring because it is rain, rain, rain, and then predict more. I'm guessing the Libs are going to redo their warnings from global warming/climate change to global flooding due to a Chinese illness that white guys caused because they own guns and big cars and go to church too much. I could be wrong. Boy this was a fun weekend for collecting knives and belt buckles. I'm going to need another safe. Jason and I are heading back to the nieces house to do drywall work on their bedroom (the only room we didn't do several weeks ago) and to hang a couple barn door style closet doors. Inside work is good during a global flood. Tonight I have a Deacon meeting and Wed. night, another Pastoral Search meeting so I've got a busy week ahead. Have a great week.____Dave

Morning folks, 🌡rather chilly 45 heading to around 80. Sunshine is right up my alley.
Critters are fed and the dishes warshed.
Son needs me and my little Ford truck to go get some red cedar wood for his raised beds he's building, got some traveling to do as it's about a 100 miles away, that will about take a good portion of the day.
Yawl have a good'un and be safe out there. ::handshake::

Good Mornin', Fellers.
Got up early, before daylight and sat down in my recliner and just now coming back to life! Must have needed the extra sleep. Bright and sunny again, around 50 degrees in the Panhandle on this fine Monday morning. Coffee was good, breakfast is being served. Got to get a bit more info on the doc going back in my shoulder. ::shrug:: Events last Friday at the after surgery appointment didn't play out to my satisfaction.
Y'all have a great day!

Good Morning everyone, and hope your Monday start of the work week is a good one. Weather, Politics, and local news is usually always the talk around diners where a bunch of curmudgeons gather. I've got a T shirt that says "Certified Curmudgeon" so I am a proud member. ::tu:: It was 49 in my part of the state early this morning. All ready up to 70 now. Weather guessers saying it's gong up into the high 70's. So will be a nice day today. Got a few honey doos today and need to run by the hardware store.

Time for another cup of coffee, then I need to get going. Hope you guys have a blessed day!!

Sister and Dad left the house at 330AM to go to the VA.
We had my Birthday dinner yesterday.
I just reheated it and had lunch.
That is why I am after noon.

Just wanted to pop in, and say howdy, this dreary, snowy afternoon.
Nothing to be surprised about...
Actually, the moisture is most welcome. Ground ain't frozen, so this all melt down right quick.
Been super nice the last 2 weeks, winter snow is mostly gone.

Good morning. Coffee's on. We are in day 8 of constant light cool rain, and last night it dropped below 32 degrees and our rain turned white, and so did the ground, trees, garage, vehicles. I think this is day 8 with 32 to go if you catch my drift. Inside work today, Have a great Tuesday. Yeah, it's that nasty Tuesday again. ____Dave

Morning Everyone
Mn. Dave, we got a few flakes but nothing covering the ground. Supposed to get Sun and dry weather after today, which will be a welcome sight .
Not much to do today ,running out of rainy day projects. Yesterday we set Trusses at Nephews site and was wet most of the day, will let the younger guys sheet it. Then rest of week a couple of his crew will be helping with in laws addition. Have most of the Rafter bds cut and notched , so it should go smoothly So today may take a trip to
Hixton, there’s another big Antique shop open there now. And then go check the old school house shop out,it’s usually got a bunch of goodies!
That is about it here , pretty low key ,kind of nice and quiet this morning. Think I’ll grab another cup of coffee and do a little reading before heading out.
Take Care out there all ,and stay safe ::tu::

Good Mornin', Boys.
The diner sure is full this morning, is there any coffee left?
Slept in a bit this morning. Our weather is doing well this morning, low of about 52 and bumpin' 90 this afternoon, clear skies.
According to the folks that are working on my shoulder replacement, it has become dislocated and they don't understand why I can't feel the pain of the dislocation. ::shrug:: The plan is to work on it this afternoon, some time after 2:30. So I'll be starving to death by the time I get there this afternoon, I can drink coffee and have clear liquids such as broth to ease my hunger pains. ::mdm:: In the mean time, I could be mowing the yards and working in the garden if we hadn't chosen to get this shoulder repaired, it's aggravating to loose a couple of weeks and then start all over.
Y'all have a great day, Lord willing I'll check back in sometime tomorrow after the procedure is complete.

Going to be a mild day around here with a high of around 70 degrees.
I finally got some more handle materials yesterday, but I need to get serious in finishing my next book.
I've got maybe 2 or 3 more days of editing and then I will be ready to submit it for publishing.
