what do ya'll look like?

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

I had to reprise a historical role that I did fkr the local cultural center today, my 6th great grandfather, Simon Morgan Settles. The library wanted to film it for one of their summer programs, so for the past couple of months I’ve let my hair and beard grow out.

As you can see I shaved off the mustache to get the look. Since Valerie HATES that look, snd since I could hardly stand the mop on top of my head, it all had to go when I got home.

Now I got to wear the Tilley Hat for sure.

Mike that’s the old Elgin that belonged to my dad’s father. It’s nothing fancy, but a neat old piece nonetheless.

COOL....

Elgins are my first love. I have a few that would go back to the Civil War period.
And a couple of Walthams that would go back that far.
All key winders.

Wow! I love pocket watches. Those you have sound extra cool!

This is the only one I have, and I don’t know enough about them to seriously pursue them. This one needs to be serviced. It’ll run, then hang up. I gotta get it slicked up.
