what do ya'll look like?

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Check out my new wheels, just picked it up off the lot yesterday. Hopefully I will only need it for a few days til the meniscus surgery heals up. First time I have ever driven one!

Some wheels, a couple of sprockets, a bicycle chain, and a little 2 cycle engine and you’d be all set for some racing!

Take care of that knee and mind the physical terrorists!

Jim, best of luck on the temporary setback. Ray (knife7knut) could probably put some racing graphics on your ride.

Hope you recover quickly from your knee repair!
Had something similar done several years back, seems like the term "scoped" was used to refer to the procedure. ::hmm::
I still find it amazing what can be done to repair these old worn out bodies.

Thanks for the positive replies and comments. Doc who scoped the knee said there is a lot of arthritis and degeneration in there and I will need a new one in a couple of years. I never in my life had a knee pain until last Christmas.

Consider yourself lucky. I went through knee pain for years and had it scoped then a year later had it replaced. The physical therapy was torture.

I have a friend that had both knees done at the same time. He said it was a b-i-double zitch but it was worth it and as far as he's concerned, if they both need it, simultaneous replacements is the only way to go.

I had no idea there was such a thing as "knee replacement".
How in the world anyone can get both knees "replaced" at the same time is beyond me. ::facepalm::

I hope you're doing well OLDE CUTLER.

Jerry I am in total agreement. I had both replaced at the same time. One hospital stay, physical therapy series and it's done. Physical therapy was a little rough but worth it.

My aunt had a hip replaced (broke it), and had her knees replaced. According to her and other is similar situations I’ve talked too, they all said the hip was a piece of cake. The knees on the other hand were rough!

Hang in there OC.

As amazing as it sounds I had mine replaced in the morning and did a little walking in the afternoon. And to me it is amazing.

Wish it was that way for me. Worse operation I ever had and the physical therapy was like trying to bend a 12" 2X4.

My sister-in-law is a doctor of physical therapy. You don’t dare mention to her that your back hurts. She’ll take her finger and poke and say, “there?” And send you to the ceiling. lol.
