Are There Any BASEBALL Fans On The Forum?

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Braves are on a roll. 5-2 over the Cards last night. That makes 11 wins out of the last 14 games. Keep your eyes on Austin Riley, he is a ball player. ::ds::

Greg, I was thinkin' about you last night as I watched it slip away from your Chop Boyz. I'll be rooting for you in the virtual stands tonight. Maybe an ESPN broadcast will change your luck.

Oh, don't cry little Fergie Boy. You get another chance in June. And July & August & September. Perk up. The one in August is a four game series right there at Great American Ball Park!

No baseball in DC this year, not the way things have been going. I'm wondering how secure Martinez's job is? He studied under the mad man Maddon but I don't think the good qualities rubbed off on him, at least they are not showing so far. I've been to 1 game this season, usually by now I've been to 3 or 4. I went to games when they lost 100+ games in a season and still enjoyed going, mostly to see friends and family at the game. But winning puts fans in the seats!

Austin Riley slams a two run homer today to put the Braves in front of the Tigers for good. They go on to win 10-5. With that homer, his eighth in 16 games he becomes only the fourth rookie in MLB history to have such a start. ::groove::

Austin Riley strokes another 3 run Homer tonight and the Bravos take care of the Pirates 12-5. That's 9 home runs in his first 18 games. now that's some rarified air right there. ::nod::
