Very cool Jay photos, Ivoryman! I used to visit the Rockies once a year, and I always liked the different Jays!

Thanks Dan, they are clever, interesting birds with lots of personality. They look back at you and really check you out. They also buzz the squirrels which is hilarious, and they don't like the Crows because of pecking order. They come up and sit on the door and remind me they are there if I don't notice. And I always like seeing the color. They love that I chase off squirrels and save the nuts for them.

Feller bird aficionados, I been feeding these little critters for a bunch of years, most years they show up the first week of April as they did this year. I generally put out one feeder and usually there are a few hitting it each day but this year they emptied it pretty quick, so I put out another, then another. Now I'm gonna put out a couple of more feeders, I've never had the volume of this birds this early in the year that I'm experiencing now. It looks like June, July, August and September around here, they generally increase numbers in those months tenfold of what's here in April. I may have to start a" go fund me"account or sell some knives to keep them fed this summer. ::woot::

Wish I could put my hummingbird feeders out, too cold down in the 30’s at night so could freeze. Maybe in a couple of days.

Spring migration is in full swing here, have seen a lot of different species moving through. My favorite was some Bobolinks stopping by on their way from Argentina to Canada.

Bonus pic of some Vultures who were disturbed from their meal of dead Raccoon.
