From the Nicene Creed, Hallelujah!

“who, for us and for our salvation,
came down from heaven,
and was incarnate by the Holy Spirit of the virgin Mary,
and was made man;
and was crucified also for us under Pontius Pilate;
he suffered and was buried;
and the third day he rose again according to the Scriptures,
and ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father;
and He shall come again, with glory, to judge the living and the dead;
whose kingdom shall have no end.”
“There are things in the old Book which I may not be able to explain, but I fully accept it as the infallible word of God, and receive its teachings as inspired by the Holy Spirit.”

Colonel, a lot said in a few words. Someone said "the resurrection is the Father's amen, to the Son's 'it is finished'.

Have a Blessed Day, My Friends and please pray for the Christians and others in Sri Lanka. Over 200 dead and more than 500 injured in senseless violence.

We had a great Resurrection Day Service today, even though we didn't make it to the sunrise service and breakfast, we got to see a young teenage girl baptized as the morning worship started. What a great way to start a Resurrection Day service as the ordinance of baptism clearly demonstrates to the world the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord!

Happy Easter! We had a great Cantata in church today, including an awesome violinist to accompany the pianist.

Amen Charlie!
Also please remember the Belivers in China. The government has begun closing churches. We have friends there who say their church was closed and they are now meeting in homes.

That’s wonderful! We had two fine young men join the church this morning. Both had recently made professions of faith and I was privileged to baptize them both a few weeks ago.

As to the persecuted church abroad, absolutely they need our prayers. Most in the American birch have no idea how much persecution is going on out there in the world. Not so they realize how quickly it could happen here.
