....my wife had to have one of these!!..so , I'm taking a nap with the dog on my lap today, and all of a sudden there's this awful racket!!..one of our cat's had somehow turned the thing on and it had come into the back porch and eaten one of the dogs pee-pads and started making this awful racket right before it shut itself off!!...welcome to the 21st century!!..I think the dog is going to recover!!...........

We’ve had two different Roomba vacuuming robots over the years. The dog gives it a wide berth when it’s running.

We wore the first one out so got another one, a newer model with more features. Unbelievable how well they clean, and fascinating to watch it navigate around objects, along walls, and stop and change directions when it encounters steps or a ledge. (I’m easily entertained.

). The second one is several years old now and is starting to need a new battery as it doesn’t last as long now after charging. It cleans for a few minutes and then dies instead of finding its way back to its charging station.

We have a couple of the robo vacs, and my wife runs them pretty much every night.

We have two large dogs which convert 98% of their caloric intake into hair production, for some reason.

I recall hearing a story of a robot vacuum cleaner and a dog with diarrhea. The owner was not real happy with the resulting mess. I don't know if it was a true story or not.
