If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

That's pretty cool! ::nod:: And they look good as decorations! ::tu:: :D
One cool thing about Coleman lanterns is that they have the month and year of manufacture stamped into the steel. It's fun to collect lanterns from your birth month/year, or to give appropriate dated lanterns as birthday or anniversary gifts. I wish all knives had the date of manufacture on them!

Desmobob...those are very enlightening. Unique and probably some are quite rare or hard to find. One thing about it, if there's ever an EMP hit, you'll have plenty of lighting accessories. ::tu::

Very nice cars Dave!
Like you, I'm really floored on the casts matchbox put out this year, absolutely love my examples of the Charger, and Firetruck.
I really don't think you could get any better in a $1 model, especially directly compared to Hot Wheels.

Here is a comparison between a MB Unimog made in England and a new one made in Thailand.

The tires self broke off the England model and cable pass rubbers are the tires now.

Today I noticed we have a Chinese take on a Coleman Lantern.
It has a glass bowl and is advertised as emergency lighting.
It uses a wick and oil also sold.

Added info: Sold at the store where I work. We don't have it.

Not much in this thread of late, so...
I finally unboxed my collection of fountain pens. Although I no longer actively collect them, I do enjoy using them. For those with arthritic hands or if it hurts to grip a pen, the fountain pen may be an option. It requires very little pressure to hold and use.

I have more stuff that goes along with fountain pens, but I still need to sort and arrange.
