Re: "Diecast Collecting"
This little guy was unknown until stumbling on the maker purely by accident earlier today.
I had originally had it down as an Athearn 1:87 scale Ford F-1. Seemed big, but was still too small for 1:64.
It's by Hongwell, whose specialty scale was 1:72--a common scale for aircraft, not street cars.

Cody: That little F-1 is gorgeous! I think I have a Mini Cooper by Hongwell . Not sure what scale it is; will check.

Re: "Diecast Collecting"
Nice group! I really like that Lionel box truck.
I think that GAZ Chaika is an original from the Soviet era, which is made pretty well. I have an Agat RAF fire service van, but unfortunately, in transit (as a part of a big lot of fire trucks from a seller in CA) it arrived in many pieces, and the body had crumbled. It was later explained to me by a guy who collected them that the "AGAT" ones were produced after the fall of the Soviet Union, and tended to use impure zinc alloys, which meant they were really prone to metal fatigue/zinc pest.
Seems that only the AGAT models ever show up in the US, and they're often in a state of metal fatigue when you find them.

Re: "Diecast Collecting"
The GAZ does date back a bit & is a pretty decent piece. I have a 1/100th scale model of a TU-144(aka the,'' CONCORDESKI'') that was made in East Germany and had assembly instructions in Russian that is nicely detailed. Also a Vostock 32 jewel wristwatch.

Re: "Diecast Collecting"
Pursuant to my retirement at the end of 2013, I accumulated about a dozen New-In-Box Hubley metal vintage car kits.
As an award winning model builder in my youth, I thought I’d build some of the kits I could never afford when I was a boy.
I’ve been retired now for almost nine years and I haven’t built a single one.

I like the wagon with the flames down the side of it.
Looks like a 2 door though.

It is a 2 door from the Jesse James series. There were 2 wagons: a gold one & a blue one. They came in 1/24th & 1/64th scale. Here are some unusual Japanese concept cars by Hongwell about 1/64th scale.

Re: "Diecast Collecting"
Started putting together a display of,'' woodie''wagons; not realizing how many I actually had! Here are a few..... Scales are from 1/87th to 1/18th.

Thanks Buddy! Appreciate your comment.

Re: "Diecast Collecting"
If you are referring to the cabover in Ruger livery, that one is by ERTL. The old one is actually dark green and made of rubber from the 1930's. No maker's name but likely Auburn Rubber. It is a 1935-1936 Ford panel delivery & an early form of dealer promotional model.

Re: "Diecast Collecting"
Ah, thanks for the clarification! There are quite a few rubber toys out there, and I know pretty much nothing about it. A possibility I'd give is Sun Rubber. I know they have an ambulance that looks similar.knife7knut wrote: ↑Tue Sep 27, 2022 5:11 pmIf you are referring to the cabover in Ruger livery, that one is by ERTL. Re: "Diecast Collecting"
This version of the '22 Ford Bronco was randomly inserted in some Matchbox cases. I preordered one online as I knew my chances of finding that particular case in stores (so far, 2022 Mix C has shown up nowhere--either the case before or after in all stores) was slim. I was really surprised to see that it was in the case.
Originally, I kept it in the package but decided it needed to be set free after two months.
