If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Ah yes, the good old Edsel. The most famous flop in NA auto history.
::nod::
It's one of those ones that was hated back in the day; but over time, grew to be one of the most beloved, ugly ducklings.
The ones that are left (if you can find one), bring a pretty penny.

For me, it's like the blob fish.
Absolutely fuggly, but absolutely adorable at the same time.

Some from the flea market today
The Plymouth was originally a cover car for Hot Rod Magazine in 1957 that ran 166 mph at Bonneville.The Hot Rod Magazine logo was on the front fenders but apparently they didn't have Hot Rod's permission to use it on the model. The base is marked,"Christine"which was actually a 58 Plymouth.For some reason the front and rear axle alignment is way off center.
The blacked out Nomad and 60 Ford wagon I guess are new issues. The Mini Coopers are ones I've never seen before.I used to own a 1964 Mini Cooper Estate wagon so I buy them whenever I see them.

Picked this one up today for a buck.Bought it because I thought it was a modified DIVCO milk truck but it isn't.In fact I have no idea what it actually is.The only markings on the bottom are,"X8312 -2012 Mattel" and "1168 MJ,1 NL". It looks like there is an image of R2D2 from Star Wars on both sides but there is no Star Wars logo anywhere. On the rear where a license plate would normally go are the letters,"OLFL" I have no idea what this means. Has anyone ever seen one of these before?

Cursor 478 Fendt Tool Carrier; made in Germany.

These were done as promotional models (I also have a Fendt Farmer tractor) for Fendt. Here in the US, Cursor models don't seem to be very high value, and you can get 'em for a song on eBay.

Very interesting little machine...and what's the green one at left? From that angle, it looks vaguely like a VW Iltis.
