Not much for riced out cars, with stupid fart cans. But a murdered out RX, with a little bling, is something I can dig!

Blue chrome 10-spokers, on gloss black, with tan interior; sic!

Didn't want to parts bin him, so I gave the split-5's a shot... Surprisingly, they work!

Not my favorite wheel to work with, they work on very few rides IMHO. But in this case, they do.

I tried once more on the Hemi Cuda and while not perfect I think it's done.
I broke part of the headlight assembly so after the glue dries I'll get a pic.

Tried an experiment.
Painted it Meadow Green yesterday.
Today just fogged it from pretty far off with Silver Metallic.

::hmm:: Dave, certainly something I've thought about trying, myself.

It does do a good job to breakup monotonous schemes, makes it look like if the sun was reflecting off.
I think it needs some fine blending, then it'll look more natural. Almost there... ::nod::

Matchbox Chevy Tahoe; Seattle, WA Fire Dept; Premiere Fire Collection; 1999.

These have a level of detail that was never seen before, and never seen again. Cars are fully detailed, and in some cases, even have a detailed interior, despite basically being mainline castings. Bumpers have plastic cladding printed on, and the red flashers are installed into the grille. I've found today's premium models sort of lacking. And the funny thing--some still had their toystore price tags of $3.99, slightly less than the $5 they charge for those ugly, clunky premium models today.

I had been meaning to buy some of the Premiere emergency vehicles, and out of the blue, with another lot I'd purchased, an eBay seller gifted me six; all of which were on the list.

Not expecting much I just took the Camaro out and clearcoated it.
So far so good.
I stopped at the local auto parts and asked about paint.
No green and red is a problem.
She could have got me Cobalt Blue in two weeks.
I declined.

Wow Cody! That really tis a stunning Tahoe! ::woot::

I knew about the Premiere series, I just didn't know how good they really are! From your (excellent I might add) description, and looking from here, I'd say He's up there with Mini GT. Or, @ least equal to the best RLC releases...
I know my bro has a '69 Stingray in his collection, but I haven't had a good look @ it yet. Time to change that me tinks!
And, if I can remember correctly, they did a couple Camaro's...

Hey mate,
Head to your local hobby shop, and pickup a can of Tamiya's acrylic. You can thank me now :D, the stuff is the best you can buy, especially when no airbrush is available.
Bro the modeller, has 3 brushes; and he still uses their primer. Tells you how good the stuff is...

I think the can of battleship gray Tamiya I used on some RC car bodies came from Hobby Lobby, but that's been 3-4 years.

The Automotive paints I got seem to all need clearcoat.
But so far they take it like butter.

This one is on my bucket list.
Built like the tank that they are, probably the most revelutionary design ever (everything following, has been based on it). Easy 500hp with a few mild upgrades, over 600 with bigger turbo's & cams.
