It sure is prepping us for it. Also Mike, I hate when people crowd me, but the last I heard from the medical people is that they think the virus can travel 30 meters in a still room. 6 feet is likely a little close.____DaveWorking Edge wrote: ↑Tue Apr 27, 2021 5:23 pm I haven't read all 524 postings in this thread, so don't know if the mark of the beast has been mentioned yet in this thread.
I feel quite strongly that the vaccine with its soon-to-follow " vaccine passport," will prove to be the mark of the beast, since ultimately, one will not be permitted to buy or sell without the "passport."
Buy or Sell, as spoken of in the Book of Revelation, is the key descriptor of the mark of the beast, and I trust Scripture by far more than any government literature or news media reports.

Will you take the Covid Vaccine ?

Re: Will you take the Covid Vaccine ?
Well, I got snuck up on.
We got our shots around 10:00am, and all was well into the early afternoon. I felt a bit off, but mostly ok.
By 6:30 I was in bed with nasty chills and a fever. Felt like crap!
On the other hand, Dave has a slightly sore arm.
I made it to work, but kept falling asleep standing up. Made it through the day with all my appendages, but it was rough.
Better now!
I’m really not looking forward to number two.

The chills and fever you describe are exactly how I felt after the second.

I received Covid immunization on April 13, the Pfizer variety. I felt a little 'off' after about 48 hours but it was minor and lasted only 2 days.
Usually a person will have a lesser reaction or no reaction following the second dose.

Re: Will you take the Covid Vaccine ?
Sorry y’all had adverse reactions but better that than going through what my son and daughter-in-law endured while having Covid. Both are in their early forties and otherwise healthy, both were very sick but recovered after a couple of weeks, except over five months later neither have recovered their senses of smell and taste.

Please let us know if that turns out to be true for you. It’s also what I excepted, but the Dr told me to brace myself for the second shot and he was right. Everyone in this house had a substantial reaction to the second dose, and none to the first.kootenay joe wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 3:53 pm I received Covid immunization on April 13, the Pfizer variety. My comment about little to no reaction to a second dose is based on immunizing babies/children in which reactions to top up doses are infrequent. It is quite possible that Covid immunization in adults gives different reaction outcomes. Right now is too soon to know for sure.

Re: Will you take the Covid Vaccine ?
Well, now the CDC (Can't Decide Criteria) is saying anyone who has been vaccinated can now stop wearing their mask outside and inside, except when in large crowds. Furthermore, they are also saying that; those who have not been vaccinated MUST continue to wear a mask all the time, inside and outside.
It's going to get to the place where those who have been vaccinated will stop wearing masks...who will then start 'calling out' those who are wearing masks because they'll automatically assume/believe that those still wearing masks have not been vaccinated. Just another means of divisiveness and turning people against each other. Wait for it....it's going to get worse.
As to the 'mark of the beast' regarding these vaccinations...nope, not yet. The time is not right. Plus, the mark of the beast will be either in the right hand or the forehead. Revelation is specific on the locations. However, this entire vaccination agenda is but a mere stepping stone of control...and I refuse to be controlled by something man has designed and implemented. Life has ALWAYS been a risk long before covid and any other virus. Call me naive or foolish, it matters not...but I'll continue to claim Psalm 91. I've lived a good life, so if the Lord calls me home tomorrow or 5 minutes from now, I know I'm ready. I am not afraid of death. I also know that I'm NOT a danger to anyone else, without the vaccine.
Didn't mean to make this out as a theological post. Just making a statement and sharing thoughts. YMMV

We all had the Moderna vaccine, Joe. That's actually why I am curious how you might make out with the Pfizer version, and if the results are different.kootenay joe wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 6:46 pm Which brand immunization did you & family receive ?

Babies aside, I've had a lot of vaccines myself...stuff most people don't get and my experiences has been reaction on the first dose, though the only other vaccine that made me feel this bad was the smallpox vaccine.
I will say I was warned this time, but still skeptical. My sister is a nurse in a elderly home, and she as well as the Dr. told me it was likely to be significant the second time around. The Dr was definitely talking about Moderna, I didn't ask my sis if she noted it in difference vaccines.
Interestingly, my sis was lucky enough to test positive the day after getting her first dose. Can't win for losing sometimes.

I believe I told you I got the J&J one shot.
I also think I said I thought I had an allergic reaction to it.
I no longer wear a mask at work but I do put one on for going into Walmart!
Sister got it same as me.
Dad got his at the VA

I had my second shot (Moderna) this past Monday at 10:30 AM.
Absolutely no adverse side effects. Over 50 hours since shot number 2. All is well.

Re: Will you take the Covid Vaccine ?
As this thread implies, reactions to the vaccine depend solely on the patient regardless of which vaccine was administered.
I've also spoken to a lot of people in person and the reactions are all over the place. Just like the majority of the population, my wife and I had different reactions than each other from the same vaccine both times.
It's good that we're sharing our experiences here but trying to accurately predict individual reactions is like trying to predict how much a knife will sell for in an Ebay auction. If you choose to get vaccinated you just have to wait and see what happens.

Another way to look at the Mark; In the forehead, your mind. In the right hand, your actions.
Comes from the actual Hebraic definitions.
At least something else to ponder...
Anyhoo,
A vaccine is a vaccine.
If it's proven "safe" & effective, then I'll take it.

That's my only reservation on the whole of said subject, IMHO.

The Chinese flu has definitely been politicized by the the crazy liberal democrats.
They wanted to get rid of President Trump because he was doing great things for America and Americans.
He stood in their way of globalization and destroying America as we know it.
Now Creepy Joe and his handlers are doing just that.
Having said all of that. The virus is real. It has killed many people, not as many as claimed, but a lot of people have died.
It has made many more very sick. The vaccine is also real. President Trump can take credit for getting the vaccine to Americans in a very fast time. To say it is the "mark" is just silly. The technology used to create this vaccine is nothing new.
If the left hadn't stolen the election and President Trump was still the president more people would have faith in the vaccine.
If your afraid of the vaccine just say so. Don't get one. But don't try to make it something it's not.

Re: Will you take the Covid Vaccine ?
I was in doubt about the shot, I've never had a flu shot and I rarely get sick. I took the shot because I didn't want to bring it home to others. Didn't know you could still get it after you had the shot. It really didn't hurt and I had no problems after the shot. All I can say is it's free and it could keep you from getting very sick or dieing but in the end it's up to you. I really can't say yes or no to it.
Re: Will you take the Covid Vaccine ?
Most recent info I have seen indicates about 6000 people have tested positive after vaccination. It may sound like a lot, but of the approximately 100 million fully vaccinated people it works out to very few. To put the 6000 into further perspective, the US is currently having 50,000+ new positive tests per day.
The 6000 will surely creep up a bit in time...but even 5,000,000 of the current fully vaccinated would only be 5%.
