WoodWalker, I will vouch for your description of Big Springs, some of the most beautiful water you will see anywhere. I have been there a few times in my life. I live roughly 3 hours East of there. Glad you posted that, I haven't been there for a few years.

Awesome Ike! I couldn't remember the exact! When floating down current river when you get close to the springs there is like a line in the water where it goes from cold (your use to this water temp by then) to ICE COLD and we all start hollering!! Its funny, everytime we floated, we knew it was going to happen, but it still give us a shock!! Good times!

Beaver Creek SP in Ohio.. Dont let anyone tell you Ohio is flat.. Cause it aint!! This hike was just great with the woods coming alive and the walk along the creek was KOOL..
