It's Beer Thirty

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

I’m with y’all in the “no fruit in my beer” crowd. And saying all beer tastes the same must come from someone who only drinks light beer or common domestic beers like Coors, Bud, Miller Lite, etc. if so you need to get out more, and try some local craft beer. Many of those taste like beer should taste! ::tu:: (Maybe you don’t really like beer. Or to put it another way, maybe you don’t like real beer). ::shrug::

Having a Warsteiner Pilsner at one of my favorite lunch spots. Cheers to your birthday, John! 🍻

Fruit in beer is a pass for me. And chili pepper beer? Never again.

Agreed on the craft beers. I regularly drank beer from a local brewer in my final months in Fresno, CA. I have also found a couple-few great local breweries here in Michigan. Mass-market beer just doesn't ring my bells.

Biked over to Bardo's Biergarten by Nats Park today, did some "sampling." Started with Sours, left to right, finishing with Imperial Stout and Barlywine. Listening to some sweet Bluegrass and Country Western songs they're playing, exactly what I would play. 🎶💯

Almost time to bike back to Aleehandreea. 😵

Ah yes, the one who went after a guy for "illegal concealed carry of a fixed blade kinfe." The knife in question? A Swiss Army knife, with the blade open, in his pocket.

My opinion of Kamala Harris is extremely low. ::barf::

I’d give it a try Chris. The fact that it says Anheuser-Busch on the label makes me skeptical though. ::hmm::

If it makes you feel any better, it's been warm and humid in the Detroit Metro (helped not at all by recent flooding). Even my basement was unpleasant. Stay cool!

Oh, and I'm on the hunt for a locally brewed pilsner. We'll see how that goes.

I've had 3 or 4 beers from this brewery. I did not care for any of them.
