It's Beer Thirty

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

John I had just about quit drinking beer for that reason until I discovered the Brown Ale category. Lagers, IPA's, Stouts all made me gag a little bit. I have discovered that you must become very selective though even in this category. :D
I had COVID and lost all taste and smell. Right now I am at about 80 percent regained on everything but beer.
I do keep trying and hoping my taste for beer comes back. 👍
John 😎
You should just keep drinking non-stop until your taste buds come back to life! Drown those little taste buds and show them who’s the boss!
(Glad to hear you’re getting some of your taste back!)
Jeff

Jeff, this advice is brilliant!!!

PS. I love IPAs!!

I met up with my brother and his family and my shooting bud and his wife. Lots of German beer, food and festivities, they do a 3 day event here and 1:00 yesterday was the special tapping of a beer from Germany made using the 1810 Wedding (which started the first Oktoberfest tradition) Beer recipe, which they gave out for free and it went fast! The Mayor of Leesburg assisted with the tapping, which is supposedly tradition for a mayor to do. There was a live band playing alt-rock (which I enjoy) and dancing on the tables was led by a Döner staff member, no one was injured! ::super_happy::

I had #17 in the Hof Brau stein, my brother had the #4 in his Warsteiner stein. Wish I could have tried more on the list! A 16 oz cup was $9, a liter stein fill was $13 so I was just getting the best deal. 😉👍🍻
John...you are officially my "Beer Hero"...happy for you but also green with envy. ::mdm::

A great choice! BTW- Dig Deep is across the parking lot from the Fairfield Inn, not Hampton. ::facepalm:: They do crowlers too (beer to go).

Just kicking back watching Houston kick some Boston butt in the ALCS...not because I care either way who wins, but it gives me something to do while trying a new beer (and, yes...drinking beer while watching a ball game on TV actually IS considered "doing something" regardless of what my wife may think! ::huff:: )

This "Vailima" Samoan Lager is pretty tasty. :D
PA220051.JPG
PA220053.JPG

Sometimes what's on the outside of the bottle can be just as interesting as what's inside the bottle (I wonder what happened to the woman ::hmm:: ).
PA220052.JPG

Oh...and BTW, my dear...I also happen to be trying to improve my health...
PA220057.JPG

...and my neighborhood relationships...
PA220055.JPG

We all know that beer can have "body," but did you know beer can also have wit? ::smirk::
