BURBANK POLICE

Post by RobesonsRme.com »

Sarah and I were driving north on I-59/20 through downtown Birmingham yesterday, when we came upon a dually pickup pulling a large utility trailer that had two circa 1939 or 1940 two door sedans on it. Both were painted black with white doors with a police emblem and, “BURBANK POLICE” on them.

Was not able to get a photo.

When we got to the I-59/I-20 split, we took I-59North toward home and he took I-20 East, possibly towards Atlanta.

Interesting encounter.

I've been there, it's really cool. Lots of motorcycles if my memory is correct.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Could have been going to Barber’s. Not sure what events are upcoming there.

Could have been going to Atlanta.

Could have been headed to Disney World.

Could have been headed to a movie location somewhere. They make a lot of movies in Georgia.

Fun sight! I spent my junior and senior years with a good friend putting thousands of miles on a '39 Chevy 2 door sedan. What memories (different paint job though). That would be 1964/65. ::tu::
