I'm going to start selling on Ebay as soon as I learn to spell

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Not beating anyone up. These just strike me as being hilarious. A couple I just noticed C'mon Coca Cola is on the bottle you are selling.

On another note, slight misspellings have allowed me to get some good deals on items. But seriously, these are laughably bad.

I also got some good deals years ago via bad spelling when I was into Rollei cameras.
I often would spell it crazy and I was often the only bidder. Too bad people spell
Case and Schrade correctly. Or do they?

I think one of the most common errors is "Derlin" vs. "Delrin" for the plastic used commonly for handles.

A think autocorrect and talk to text are two of the biggest problems in misspelling. I use talk to text extensively especially on my phone.

I was in the store a couple months ago and saw a sign that I had to buy and it sets above my computer on the bookshelf the sign says:
SERIOUSLY AUTOCORRECT, I HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF YOUT SHIRT!

Shrade, sharde, sharade, scharade, etc. I see it all the time. Occasionally (  ) I see some errors on AAPK, believe it or not. The horrible misuse of the apostrophe is one of the worst offenders. It shouldn't bother me but it does. Maybe I should get a life?

I was the only bidder and got a killer price on a mint Sheridan air rifle a few years ago because it was listed as a "Sherdian." Looking for misspellings of brand names can sometimes get you a bargain that other searchers miss.

My friend it’s not humming byid it’s huming byid. Which must be a different genre altogether.

One of the uneducated masses. Probably would misspell coffee as "kauphy". Oh well, it pronounces the same! lol

I love misspellings and generic titles on fleabay. I have gotten many nice knives as the only bidder for low prices.

The best deal I ever ran across was a Western Bx54 Bushman with sheath for only $25 as the only bidder. The auction title was simply "Bowie Knife".

In reference to the first link, I agree, probably just misspelling. But on the second, I'm not sure, that may have been on purpose to get past the crazy Ebay Algorithms so it would post and not get flagged. I've heard some crazy stories as of late of people trying to list things and it flagged and discontinued their submission because it thought they were posting certain animals or animal parts.

There are definitely a lot of mopes in Baltimore. 🤭. Main reason why I stopped visiting, what a jungle.
