"The Guardians of the Garage"...........
In addition to the myriad other items that seem to populate my shop indiscriminately I seem to acquire either female figures or heads(used in hair salons)along with various other figures. I thought it might be fun to catalog them and then post some of the stranger ones.So without further ado here are some of my faithful,"Guardians".
#1 is a female torso normally used for shirt and/or dress displays in stores.I added a hair salon head and dressed her in a drum majorette's jacket had hat with Spiderman goggles and a light stick necklace. The body was completely pinstriped for a Billetproof show.I'll show pics of that later.
#2 is a doll about 3 ft. high of unknown origin.Bought at a yard sale,I'm still not sure what she will turn out to be.
#3 through #8 are various hair salon heads that I use to display the different silly hats that I design and paint up.
#9 is a rubber shark. Not sure what it's original purpose was.
#10 is a rubber Hallowe'en mask mounted on a coffee pot.

Some more:
#1 A full sized plaster mannequin in a patriotic bathing suit. She was wearing a priest's robe's for awhile.
#2 What appears to be an egg with arms and a mouth sitting atop and smoking a rather large and ornate hookah.
#3 Moe of the Three Stooges dressed as an artist riding a miniature rocking horse.
#4 Mr. Perfect;a doll that mouths platitudes to his wife.
#5 Another female torso with a skull attached and a huge pair of glasses. The sign is too long a story to get into here.
#6 The Crypt Keeper.
#7 A skull inside an actual bowling ball.
#8 A battery operated flying pig(wings removed)sitting atop one of my silly hats.It is being repaired.
#9 "Hula Pig" a bobblehead(or bobble body if you prefer).
#10 Gypsy fortune teller. This thing came in a box of things I bought on e-Bay.

Nice, Ray! Surprised you don't have any shrunken heads.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

That is an amazing collection of....stuff! Very cool!! Ray, I hope that you still have some room left in your shop for "shop work".

I wonder if it’s like the movie “Night at the Museum” and they all come to life when you leave for the night? Asking for a friend
