Only saw ZZ Top ( 1 ) time with Kansas many years ago in Atlantic City in a indoor casino venue with a 1,000 person seating capacity You want to talk about a Head Banging Chest Thumping Ear Drum breaking concert It was like each person was getting their own personal ZZ Top performance and Man, “They Rocked that Casino “ 1,000 people is not many at all and we was All Fired Up in more ways than one Just saw Oreo and Styx a few days ago Excellent bands, But No comparison to ZZ Top ZZ Top, Flat Out Rocked

RIP Dusty!
First heard of ZZ around 1972 while stationed on a DD homeported with the Midway in Yokosuka, Japan. Got a new BT on board, actually two of them, brothers believe it or not, named Vaughn. Not a sea story. Randy V asks a few of us if we ever heard of a little ol' band from Texas called....yeah. Probably Tres Hombres but I don't really recall. A good memory.

I remember hearing Tush on the radio pretty much everyday when I was a young teenager. Saw them at the Fox Theater in St. Louis sometime in the mid 1980's and saw them again in 1993 at the Harley Davidson 90th Reunion in Milwaukee.
My wife and I watch Bones on Hulu and Billy Gibbons is on several episodes playing some gal's dad. Ironically, my late brother in law's name was also Billy Gibbons.
Thanks for the rockin' tunes, Dusty. May you rest in peace.
