Your Coffee Cup(s), favorite, clever, funny and otherwise
Was looking at the cup on my desk that holds pencils, pens, rulers and other miscellany and thought, "why not a thread for coffee cups". Here's someplace to show your favorite or your snarky or your funny coffee cup.
A few more to follow.

I don't have any with funny sayings or pictures on them but here are my 3 favorites.
Of course my Navy Chief mug. One I got when we took 2 of our grandsons to Mt. Rushmore. And the one I use the most Support the Thin Blue Line.

Re: Your Coffee Cup(s), favorite, clever, funny and otherwise
David, they don't have to be snarky or funny. Actually they don't even have to be your favorites. Just coffee cups that live with you and maybe have a personal meaning to you. If it's your favorite, it doesn't even need any logo's or marking on it. Maybe it's one that a parent, grandparent, uncle or aunt used or maybe someone gave you or one you picked up somewhere while traveling. Starting to get the picture?
Those don't even need a label for me to figure out where they live. Excellent post.
This one has caricatures of some of my grandchildren on it.
This one serves a purpose & it's not currently holding coffee or other liquids.
And no one will not be able to guess why this one lives here.

Some favorites. Had to take two pictures to get all of the “cowboy” mug because the wording is on the side opposite the handle. It was given to me at work as a gag gift by some employees I had recruited, on the occasion of one of my work anniversaries.
The Tigger mug is probably the one I use most, it was a gift from my oldest grandson. I used to read Tigger books to my grandkids when they were younguns. It came with a bag of Tigger brand coffee, which had a slogan on the bag saying it provided “maximum bounce”.
The others are self explanatory.

For my crude oil, I mean coffee.
For my tea. Real bone china, really enhances the experience. Tough to find a macho bone china tea cup.

A couple of mugs I used at the office before I retired. I always loved this one with the 3 Stooges on it.
The other is the company I retired from after 26 years.

Re: Your Coffee Cup(s), favorite, clever, funny and otherwise
As a lad in 1959-1960 I had one of those old tin thermos bottles with the glass liner. I hung it in a sack off the tail light of the old John Deere "60" whilst working in the fields at the ranch. A man has to have his coffee. Those thermos bottles had a set of three nesting plastic cups on top, the biggest one screwing the set down, and it had a handle. I still have that red cup, and it is the one 3-dimensional object which I still own the longest in my life. I ran over the thermos with my tractor and it is gone, along with probably millions of its ilk.

I never knew the breeds, thanks for the info. Now they seem more macho. Lol.
My wife has a favorite tea cup, so I went on ebay to buy her a duplicate and found the chicken cups from the same pattern and maker.
Thanks for the thumbs up Ken!

This one is my favorite, more for its functionality than for its design, although I do appreciate wolves. It just fits my hand nicely, has a large capacity, a big solid handle I can get a grip on, and it's wide enough that I can set it down without worrying about knocking it over. I frequently will push other lesser mugs out of my way to get to this one.

Cool thread Jerry!
#1) My EDCC (Every - Day - Coffee - Cup) . It used to say Case on it but that wore off.
#2) My 5-10 times a month Tea Cup. Reads: "Defending Freedome"
#3) My favorite Cup in the house! But it's my wife's EDTC (Every - Day - Tea - Cup). I never get to use it. We bought 2 of these at a gas station on our way to the Baltimore Airport on our last visit to Maryland. We gave one of them to my father in law. He likes it too. It's a cool cup. All the pictures of things kind of pop out to give it an uneven 3-D feeling. It reads: Maryland, Frederick, Western Maryland, USS Constellation Baltimore, The State House Annapolis, The Chesapeake Bay Bridge, and Blue Crab. Wish I would have bought another one for myself. Next time I see em I'll have to grab me another one of them.
I do think 1967redrider really needs one of these because of the Western Maryland Train on it. Although I do like your Bengals Cup.

I like the first one Ken. That would be a good one to have at the workplace.Mumbleypeg wrote: ↑Thu Jan 05, 2023 3:50 pm Some favorites. I like all your Cups!
Your "Oil Cup" is just plain cool! And I love chickens! I didn't know bone china would enhance the tea experience. Learned something new.

My everyday coffee cup for the past 30 or so years. I bought this hand made coffee cup at an art show back in the late 1980’s. It’s the perfect size for me and holds just the right amount of coffee.

I'll play! Of course I have to have options. A few of these cups I have had for close to 30 years.
Newest one is 3 years to me, the sailors cup.
I like and use them all.
I will say it seems kind of funny to see my coffee cups on here.
