I was quoting from a time when the only two options were a Corvette or a 2 seat Thunderbird(which was referred to as a, '' personal '' car). I personally don't consider a new Corvette or a Ford GT a, '' sports car '' in the normal sense of the definition.JMHO.

Just razing some, personally after working on cars everyday for 20+ years and having worked on several GT’s and lot of Corvettes I can tell you I’m not impressed by any of them anymore. I tell my boys the only car that impresses me is paid for and working air conditioning!

That is a nice display of cars, Ray.

Cars, you can get anything you want if you have the courage to get a loan for one. They will take you anywhere. To the store; to the opera.
I have an old Rav 4, that is, so far, reliable and convenient, but I think of cars as stinking honk boxes no matter the make. ::nod::

Awesome group! I think I may have one plastic Corvette, my old 1:18 Tootsietoy from '99-2000ish. \

I keep meaning on getting into plastic dealer promos, as the late-production MPC and AMT models seem very affordable. However, I don't have the room.

That shooting brake is really unique!

I presume the Astro concept is a slot car?

The (shooting brake)is an old AMT kit I bought at a yard sale. The Astro is by HASBRO called an ,''AMAZAMATIC. Battery powered, it used a programming card inserted gnto a slot that controlled the movement of the car.

I had a 96 Corvette and wish I would have kept it. I just like motorcycles more.

As for the majority of my life, I have existed on 3-4 hours of sleep per night, choosing a spot isn't really an issue. Having a large basement & a 3 car shop helps too.

I'll help your storage by taking any farmers jacks you'd be willing to barter away.😊
