February Knife Giveaway - Custom Fixed blade BCO knife

For our February knife drawing. Craig (knifemaker3) Blankenship has done us a great service by providing a custom made wharncliffe fixed blade. He made this knife specifically for us to give away here at AAPK and he included a very enjoyable step by step tutorial of the construction process...

The knife was made using the stock removal method. It has a 440c stainless steel wharncliffe blade that measures 3 3/4". The knife measures 8" overall. Bolsters are brass and the handle scales are stabized walnut burl. Comes complete with a very nice leather sheath ...also made by Craig.

I am a new member so I usually just sit back, watch and learn; but I must comment on this custom setup offered by Bryan. This is 1 awesome knife and sheath! I don't know anyone here personally, especially Bryan, but if this is an example of his craftsmanship....well I am thoroughly impressed! Way to go Bryan and thanks for offering a very nice setup that ANYONE would love to own! Whomever wins this and is not completely satisfied...be sure to call me first, I'll take it off your hands! I'm a little slow to the draw on posting the winner of this one (just got back from out of town).

Well, I just got it and it's even better looking in person than in the pictures. Fabulous work, Bryan!

I had it shipped to my office so I wouldn't have to wait until I got home to see it (and prayed that it did not arrive on a Saturday!).
