April 2009 Knife Giveaway

Good Day Knifer Friends :D

Here's what we have for the April giveaway ...

My favorite pattern ::ds:: ... a 3 1/2" fiddleback whittler made by Canal Street Cutlery.

The knife is brand new in original box with all original packaging & paperwork.

The handle scales are Dark Amber Stag Bone. The blades are 420 stainless polished on the mark side.

All Canal Street knives are Proudly manufactured in the U.S.A.!

Instructions for entering the giveaway...

Simply click here and select a number between 0 and 1000.

You will have until the end of the day on April 29th (11:59 P.M. Eastern) to pick a number. The winner will be determined by the Illinois State Lottery evening pick three drawing on April 30. The Individual closest to the selected number will win. If there is a tie it will be the closest number without going over. The Illinois lottery results can be found on the following website:
http://www.illinoislottery.com/numbers.asp
You must be 18 or older to play.

Wow!!! I am a relative newcomer here and was just feeling my way around last month and spotted the contest. What a shock when I got an email today from Bryan. You can bet I'll be spending more time around here. That is a sweet whittler and I am excited about the win. My new great grandson now has his first whittler (in about fifteen years or so). And woseyjales, you are right about the "cool" part. For 29 years my radiator shop had a guarantee that "held water" and that's why they call me the "Radi8r".

Well I am glade things work out the way they did.

Congraddes and yes that is one fine knife.

I just have to talk to the NEW gov. of IL and perhaps he will pick the next winning 3 numbers... :lol: :lol:

:D I just received my CS Fiddleback Whittler and it is a fine piece of cutlery. This knife, like several others in my collection, will have a special story attached to it. When it is passed on to my great grandson it will go with a history of a very interesting website and a fun contest put on by the site and it's special promoter.
