HI Tom,

I can't believe I won your CRKT Ron Lake P.A.L. - what a knife !! I've never handled one - I'm really anxious to see how the Piston Activated Lock actually works - from what I've read, it's quite an innovative locking design. Thanks for your generosity in offering this fine knife to AAPK membership, I really appreciate it. WOOT !! ::groove::

Thank you Tom - I received the CRKT Lake's PAL knife today - thanks for the lightning fast shipping !!

I'm sorry Ken, I missed in the first post that this was your donation - apologies & my sincere thanks to you for offering up this fine knife to the AAPK membership.

First impression is the size - it's a nice medium frame ... it's smaller than it looks in the pictures - really fits the hand (and pocket) nicely. Blade is super beefy & the plunger lock feature is really neat - locks up rock solid ! Overall, fantastic knife that exceeded my expectations - thanks again Ken ... I have no doubt this baby is going to be a weekend carry workhorse !! ::tu::

Good to hear John - I just helped Ken get his knife in your hands - I play the role of intermediary very well! Enjoy your prize and know that you are the envy of many here on AAPK. Tom
