The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Here's 3 Case Classic Trappers in MOP. 2 are engraved "Prototype" the other is engraved 1of3. I also have one in Genuine abalone. I need to get them out and take some new pictures of them.

How about a 223 trapper. Engraved 1 of 4 on the back of the master blade. Jim Parker told me that this is the one used for the photo on the cover of the Case Classic book.
