Case Classic Clasp knife / Bulldog

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

That is a beautiful knife, Dean. Even more so in enlarged photo.
I said to my self, I've got one of those ........ until I saw the Bradford, Pa.
Mine has the U.S.A. stamp.
Has it ever been sharpened?

Hello FRJ,

In answer to your question : Has it ever been sharpened?

Nope, just like the day she came out of the factory. There's knives for daily use and then there are collectables.

I rehandled a 55 series Case Classic once and sharpened that …. what a great EDC knife, that is until it grew legs and walked away so to speak.

Thank you, Dean.
What a shame to lose a knife that you have made your own in such a way.

I have sharpened and carry my Bulldog at times in the winter. I love carrying big knives when I can.
