Case Stamp Question

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Thanks Doug! Appreciate it! ::handshake::

This will be my first Case knife from that era so I'm pretty stoked about it. Can't even believe I found one of them over here in Germany. ::super_happy::

It's here! ::ds:: My "Torpedo Jack". ::groove:: Did some cleaning on it and here it is! ::super_happy:: It's 3 3/8" in length. Has very good snap! Just right for my taste. Solid half stops. Which I like. Handles are in great shape. No cracks or chips. I like the feel of them better than that of Delrin. Delrin feels more like hard plastic. These feel more like hard rubber. I like them. Pins are peened nicely. (Is that correct? Peened) Springs & well cleaned up very good. Blades have some wear on them but I'm still very stoked with this find! ::nod:: Threw it right into my pocket! ::nod:: I love it already! If anyone can tell me the pattern Nr. or close age, that would be wonderful. Oh & it's stamped Case over Tested XX on the main blade. I'll post a few pictures of it here and some more in the Case thread later on or tomarrow because it's getting late. Thanks for looking friends! ::handshake:: :D

Tom, at 3-3/8 inches with a clip master blade your knife looks like a 6214-1/2 pattern. And I’d say you got a good deal at that price. ::tu::
