Sabre 614
I know it may be a long shot but I wanted to check if anyone might have a mark side shell handle assembly (black plastic) for this Sabre 4 inch 614 trapper (Hong Kong). It is a stainless steel one and the blades are still nice, so I decided to redo it. If I cant find just a shell handle I might do a shell handle conversion on it, that is new brass liners, nickle silver bolsters and handled in some exotic wood. But it would be a good EDC with just original shell handles. Sabre used a somewhat different method of attaching their shell handles. There are tabs that go thru the liners into pockets and fold over inside the blade wells to retain them, rather than the tabs being on the ends to fold over into recesses in the liners. The square holes you see in the liners is where the tabs go thru.
