Wanted: Boker shield
Wanted: Boker shield
I found an old knife of my Dad’s in his toolbox (he passed away in ‘81). It’s from the 1945-63 period. As you can see, the round shield is gone - the opening measures about .25 inch across. Anyone able to help? I bought a parts knife on EBay, but it turns out the shield is way too small.

Have you contacted Böker and asked for a replacement shield? They used to routinely send them free of charge when requested.

Actually I tried calling them twice and I can’t get anyone to answer the phone. I’ll keep, trying though. This is the number I have. 800-835-6433.
