Feels great in hand, flicks open with a satisfying "thunk", F&F excellent, blade came nice and sharp, and the "modified" sheepsfoot shape is pretty handy for a lot of uses. I think it's going to see a lot of carry as my OHO.orvet wrote:Tony,

As I conceal carry daily this is my"dress carry" companion knife, my daily carry is the Buck 883 Code 3 flipper.

No Gerbers? Except for the random A/F Combat Folder or Covert auto, none.
Zero, zip, nada.
Here's a few that'll cure that. Gerber International blue anodized Harsey Air Ranger (marked Legendary Blades) Gerber International Fred Carter designed Utility II ATS-34 first production run Gerber International Harsey Air Ranger (marked INTERNATIONAL) first production run
I've got a few more (or 10) but these were the first ones I ran across.
Ounce for ounce I'd put em up against anything.

Today I was cleaning and adjusting this weeks work knives and I realized I'M gravitating tword Spydies-hole style one hand opening knives for work cause of ease while wearing gloves Do you all have a preference in how you deploy your blade?

You gut that exactly right John and those two are just what I like when at work.Other than work I'm with Jerry and the speedsafe models are great but not around welding dust and grit. For me Speedsafe are more comfortable to deploy than autos.

Benchmade AFCK
The AFCK was designed by former Navy SEAL Chris Caracci in collaboration with Benchmade.
It also used the Spyderco trademark hole in the blade, and I think Benchmade had to pay Spyderco for using it under a license agreement.

Re: Post Your Tactical Folders
It's a Benchmade/Chris Caracci AFCK (“AFCK” stands for “Advanced Folding Combat Knife.”) There are many variations of this knife with a variety of super steels of the day that were made. This is a highly sought after knife and if you've ever used one, it's the most well thought out, superbly balanced multi grip combat knives designed by a man who wrote the course on CQC with a knife. I have yet to handle a faster, better balanced more ergonomic folder designed. Enjoy the knife, it's definitely a keeper, you'll see.PCwizard wrote:I know this is a old post but does anyone know what model this benchmade is ? Pair of Zero Tolerance flippers, these are really heavy duty knives. The larger one is best suited for coat pocket carry, the smaller one I carry in the side pocket of carpenter jeans. Both came scarry sharp, but I'm not sure the best way to sharpen Elmax steel.

Warren Thomas/Beretta, Gen1 Avenger, laminated VG-10 Carbon Fiber blade with CF scales. The laminated blade is similar in design to the laminated Apache Helicopter rotor blades.
