Re: NEED MEMBERS ADVICE ON NEW TACTICAL
These are all integrals and designed by Tashi Bharucha. Made by David Deng of Reate Knives and are excellent made knives with incredible fit and finish. The bottom knife is called the Baby Machine and I have 2 on order. It's not a flipper, but will deploy just as fast with just a nudge of your finger. One vendor I know is selling them at $320 00 and they will sell out quickly.

Re: NEED MEMBERS ADVICE ON NEW TACTICAL
Here's a few I found by just limiting the search criteria at KnifeCenter to $150-$350, made in the USA and 3-4" blade length. I then just selected some that caught my eye. They don't necessarily tick all the boxes - for example, a lot of really nice modern knives are now flippers. I'm partial to titanium and carbon fiber, so you'll see some of that here. I make no endorsement of of any of these knives - I just think they are kinda purdy...

Right now I am leaning tword the Pro Tech TR-4 Manual folder,,,plain edge,,satin finish
it has aluminum handles and I could then send the knife too someone
to anodize what color and what parts to do,,, a one of a kind-der
I found one that the knife outfit that will have one in in 2 weeks for $169.95 shipped
maybe 75.00 or so for anodizing and I got me a custom type knife
least thats where I am at now,,,but we all know how that rolls in the knife game

Will, autos are legal now in Michigan. I picked up this Protech and it's completely legal with a 3" blade. Check your mail as I sent you a message.

I posted to the auto forum that Michigan like some other states has changed their switch blade law. Which was both out-dated and handy-capped people had trouble opening a regular knife. Does that apply to all possible types, I do not know!

Re: NEED MEMBERS ADVICE ON NEW TACTICAL
Only requirement in Michigan is the blade be 3" or less. This applies to OTF as well. I've carried knives that were larger than 3" blade and never had a problem. Even the LEO'S I've shown knives to never had a problem.

Howdy there Jim...how is Northern Michigan treating you these days ???
I knew about the Law change
I just prefer a Manual opening tactical vs the automatics...
and I really like that Pro Tech TR-4 Satin finish...and its a bit bigger with a 4 inch blade
I like the bigger knives for EDC
Good to hear from ya tho Jim, you came to mind when I went thru Dundee last fall....

Re: NEED MEMBERS ADVICE ON NEW TACTICAL
This one is below your price that you were looking at. But I have this Bear Marigold Bone tactical that hits a lot of your specks and I would sell you this for 50 bucks. If nothing else, it would make a good back up knife. This yellow color would be very hard to lose.
Let me know if you have an interest in this.

I see you want to spend a lot of money, But. I have recently got ahold of a Ganzo. Its made in China, like most everything else we own. It is fantastic. Very well made, easy to open and close, sharp as can be. Tough 440C steel. Holds its edge. I got mine at a garage sale for a whopping $10.00 that is Ten bucks. Best ten bucks I ever spent on a knife. I like my USA slip joints as much as anyone but, for a user the Ganzo is more than fine. The F753M1 Ganzo firebird is available from Amazon for $16.95 . Just sayin, might want to try one.

Hello stagman, hope you are doing well. How about showing us the knife you finally chose? Did you go with the Pro-Tech?
