J.A Henckels lockback

Here's the last of the 3 knives I bought.Stamped on the blade J.A.Henckels Zwillingwerks. Stag fishtail lockback,swinguard.I don't know much about Henckels other than my wife has a set of Henckels kitchen knives I got her for Christmas several years ago.

The swing guard is an older Henckels made knife, pre 1960, not a post 1960 contract knife. Hard to date because Henckels made no changes in their patterns whether made in 1880 or 1950. Mike R. is a member and he knows the old Henckels better than i do, so he might have more info on this knife.

Did you buy other Henckels knives as well ?
No the other 2 I spoke of are a Wade & Butcher and A W Wadsworth and Son Austria.
