I’ve been told, by the wife not to buy knives because I keep cutting myself! Well that’s a fair comment but every now and then I come across something I just have to own. I bought this old Taylors pruning knife in a local antique shop for a very good price. Its blade is about 3" and the handle about 5".Hope like it.

Nice knife!
You can explain to her, that on a knife, with dual curves...it's far less likely to cut the user. I don't know if that's true or not...but that's what I'd go with.

That's real nice Gerry. And the fact that you got it for a good price makes it even better. Well done.

Gerry what a great knife, it was obviously a favored tool of its previous owner. I don't think those handles are bone, looks more like well worn stag.

Nothing like a knife that likely has a million stories to tell;better than a new one any day of the week! And if the wife complains about you getting cut just tell her it's doing it's intended job!
